Custom wormy maple frame
These four paintings were ideally created to ideally hang as a quartet but also stand alone as impactful individual paintings. Eternal Ascent I - IV features birds of different feathers, flying away in all directions on a textural blue background representing the wide open sky. The birds are rendered in great detail in graphite, charcoal and ink and suspended in encuastic wax, giving them an ethereal floating effect. The motion of the birds is so lifelike that you can almost hear the fluttering of their wings as they fly through the paintings.
